Know what is in stock and what the job needs.
Bring material records, locations and job requirements together to make stock decisions with context.
A balance alone does not tell the whole story
A stock sheet might show ten bearings on hand, but that number does not show whether eight are already reserved for another job. Incoming orders add another complication: planned material is not necessarily available to issue today.
Without consistent part units and locations, teams can spend time checking stores, duplicate an order or misunderstand the quantity still needed.
Review stock alongside demand
Recon records parts and stock locations and supports stock movements, job reservations and issues. Job views distinguish available, reserved, issued, incoming and uncovered quantities.
The stock overview shows recorded quantities by location. Physical counts and accurate entries remain essential: a system cannot make an incorrect stock record correct by itself.
Follow the work, not just the records.
If a machining job requires six bearings and only two are free, the team can reserve the two and review the remaining requirement before sourcing.
- See recorded stock by location
- Protect stock reserved for jobs
- Identify requirements still needing purchase
The platform is in development. Screens show the development interface, named Atlas Inventory, with synthetic test data; availability and appearance may change.
Frequently asked questions
Does incoming stock count as stock available now?
No. Incoming or draft supply is shown separately from stock that can be issued now.
Can stock be reserved against a job?
Yes. The development build supports reserving available job materials and issuing them when the workshop takes them.
